Ocheje Ochonia Khadija

Ochonia is a member of the firm’s Islamic Finance, Corporate Secretarial, and Litigation teams. She has played an integral role in advising on bond issuances in Nigeria, supporting the financing and construction of government capital projects. In the Islamic Finance sector, Ochonia has contributed significantly by advising on and drafting key agreements, including Musharaka Mutanaqisa, Ijara Bittamleek, and Service Level Agreements. She has also been involved in structuring corporate compliance frameworks, supporting both international and local clients with their business operations in Nigeria. Additionally, Ochonia has assisted in board evaluations and has actively participated in board meetings for companies across Nigeria.
